Delivery times provided are estimates only.

If we cannot deliver due to incorrect information or customer unavailability, refunds may not apply.

Orders must be collected promptly at the agreed time. We are not responsible for food that spoils if collected late.

  1. Cancellations & Refunds

Because our food is freshly prepared:

7.1 Cancellations

You may cancel an order before we start preparing it.
Once preparation begins, cancellations may not be possible.

7.2 Refunds

Refunds may be issued if:

  • You received the wrong item,
  • An item was missing,
  • The food was not satisfactory (subject to assessment),
  • We failed to deliver due to our fault.

You must notify us within 24 hours with evidence (e.g., a photo).

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  1. Food Quality & Consumption

Food should be consumed immediately or stored safely according to UK food hygiene guidelines.

We are not responsible for illness or harm caused by:

  • Improper storage by the customer,
  • Late consumption after delivery/collection,
  • Food left unattended.
  1. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.

Mama’s African Kitchen is not liable for:

  • Losses caused by incorrect information provided by the customer,
  • Indirect or consequential losses,
  • Delays outside our control (traffic, weather, etc.).

Our liability is limited to the price of the order in question.
